The adhesive is dripping when on vertical surfaces

A. Excessive quantity of adhesive. Smooth the setting and use a lower quantity of adhesive.

DON’T USE the adhesive as an adhesive strip and a smoothing material at the same time, when we have poor workmanship on the substrate.

B.The substrate is completely non-absorbing.

C.We use the wrong type of adhesive for the substrate D.We haven’t placed finishing points.

E.We have very thin adhesive (use) lower quantity of water.

F.The substrate to be applied on is very humid.

Usually, on a wall base, the surface is undetectable due to its small size during the smoothing procedure that precedes the placement of tiles. This results to the excessive usage of adhesive on the back of the tile and the immediate welding with the substrate. The adhesive, due to its weight, is dripping and brings the wall base with it. Smooth also the wall base surfaces beforehand. They should be clear too.

WE REPEAT that the quantity of adhesive during the welding should not exceed the tile width.
